Galindo Family-Candlestick Park, San Francisco CA

It was a pleasure photographing this young family. This shoot was a little unusual for me since I had to bring my kids with me because my husband was on yet another fishing trip. But I was lucky that Daniela and Edwin didn’t mind and so we met at Candlestick Park and toured the surrounding area trying to get the best shots possible. Unfortunately we were not able to get inside the fence due to security measures but I think we did well considering the restrictions we had…..

It was pretty cool doing this shoot, most families do the beach or the park but this family was awesome, they wanted to represent their team and themselves and were decked out in ‘9er gear’. As soon as they drove up I completely understood why they decided on this location. If there ever was a family who represented for the Red & Gold the Galindo family was it. Edwin and Daniela it was very nice meeting you all and shooting you and your sweet little man!

Grace Maternity Shoot!

Baby's are baking everywhere around me!
Grace and Paulo will be having their first son within the next couple weeks! A mutual friend of ours Angie insisted that we had to get Grace's photos soon because Grace looks like she could have her baby at any moment! Angie actually gave this very generous gift of a maternity shoot to Grace for her baby shower gift.  (I just love being someone present! :)

We started off at their home and moved over to the San Francisco Bay nearby to change the scenery a little. And lucky for us we actually got the sunset! I think we got some really nice shots, but I must say since Paulo is a very talented photographer himself it was somewhat nerve wracking to photograph them!
Both Paulo and Grace were very comfortable in front of the camera which always makes things easier when someone isn't looking for direction for every photo I take. Here are a handful of my favorite...Enjoy!

I always love these little sun flares....They remind me of angles hovering around...

I thought it was too cute how Paulo was taking so many pictures of Gracie on his cell phone! Love!

Such a natural beauty...

Michelle Maternity....Mothers Day!

This Mothers Day shoot was a gift from Gino to his wife Michelle….He wanted to gift these photos to her since she had never had a photo shoot all to herself.   I of course thought it was a very sweet gift and extremely thoughtful!

We did these photos in their huge backyard, so big in fact that it actually attracts the deer!  I struggled a little with the setting sun but both were good sports about moving around to get the best light possible. Michelle was a natural in front of the camera! And I would actually  love to someday do a pin-up shoot with her, since she definitely has that look.

.Speaking of naturals they have a little girl named Giselle and she's a super awesome kid! I had to sneak in a few shots of her,  I just could not help myself! She actually pulled out her own camera and became by unofficial assistant!

I had a lot of fun hanging out with this family and even though it was a little more difficult time in the day with the sun, I think Michelle really looked great! Happy Mothers Day Michelle!

Looks like two Angels were hovering over Michelle in these two photos!

My favorite shots of the day with 'mommy' in her jeans and t-shirt!

 The show stealer right here!

Jennifer & Randall- Flower Farm Inn Loomis, CA

Jennifer and Randall 'RJ' had an amazing wedding, from start to finish it was nothing less than perfect! The weather man had been calling for rain all week and I was a little worried that the weather wouldn't hold but like everything else at their wedding it was great! Overcast with grey skies and a few peeks of blue! PERFECT to photograph in!
A lot of the time when I take pictures of a couple they'll look to me for direction which is fine.... but the best photos are taken when a couple allows themselves to just BE in THEIR moment and just feel what comes natural, a touch, a stolen kiss, a smile. And me with my cameras are just an afterthought. I really feel like these photos came out so amazing, because Jen and RJ just did their thing and I was in the background capturing it all with my Nikons....I chose a lot of their pictures to share in this blog because I loved so many! So please take a look at a handful of my favorites.

There were quite a bit of details that this couple put a lot of time and effort into and I was really wanted to photograph as many of them as possible

I loved the details in her dress!  The bride was perfect!

And of course the groom held his own....

Jen and RJ did a 'first look' which was SO awesome! I gotta admit, watching these two see each other for the first time was a tear jerker!

Because there was no rush we took our time and took plenty of photos of them just being together on the property

The Ceremony, was soo Romantic!

This photo below is one of my favorites from the day, they snuck away right after the ceremony for a private moment, which I of course had to capture...from a respectable distance of course!
